PART I - Premonition
Darkness. Silence. The air is still, yet something imperceptible lingers within it—tension, anticipation, the breath of fate itself. The space slowly fills with mist, where shadows glide, fleeting like memories. People here are fragmented, lost, trapped in their fears. Their movements are abrupt, like words hesitating to be spoken. Silhouettes flicker on the backdrop—towering buildings, shadows of people, faces turned toward something unseen. They tremble, then fade, giving way to chaos. The city fractures, its lines shattering into sharp shards. Space collapses. Time unravels.

PART II - Chaos
Suddenly—a sound. It slashes through the silence, filling it with ragged pulses. The world splinters like a broken mirror, each fragment reflecting its own pain. People are caught in the vortex of events, clinging to the familiar, yet the familiar is no more. Their bodies struggle against an invisible force pulling them in different directions. We witness different stories—of love, betrayal, despair, faith, and hope.

PART III - Resilience
Then—one step. Barely noticeable, yet resolute. A dancer's voice rises, trembling, fragile, yet growing stronger. It is Ukrainian traditional music. It is not just a sound—it is a call, a reminder of who they are. The song resonates within them, one by one they begin to sing. A chorus emerges, a battle cry that lifts their heads. Their bodies respond, one rhythm following another. From ruins, structure arises. Their dance becomes a battle. Their steps—the heartbeat of resistance. Their breath—the breath of the earth, which remembers them all. They are no longer alone. They are a wave, a storm, a thunder in which light is reborn.

PART IV - Freedom

Silence. Not fearful, not empty—alive. Their bodies move fluidly, freely. They are no longer separate figures but a single, infinite stream. Like birds, they soar through the sky, connected, trusting one another. A light ignites on the backdrop. Not harsh, not blinding—gentle, warming. It spreads across the stage, weaving golden patterns into the space. It is the breath of morning after the longest night. And the movement does not stop. It cannot stop. It carries them forward—to life, to light, to hope.

Wings of Light (work in progress)

This performance is a hymn to the unconquered human spirit, an exploration of the power of community and the invisible bond that unites people in the face of adversity.

The story is inspired by the courage and resilience of the Ukrainian people during the war, but its message is universal. When the world collapses and the familiar order turns to chaos, fear gives way to determination, and another’s pain becomes our own. In these moments, a deep, unshakable connection is born — a unity that becomes salvation.

A person does not simply seek survival but meaning: what to fight for, what to preserve, where to belong. We hold on to our roots, our homeland, our memories, and those who stand beside us.
Сan we overcome the hardest trials if we do not believe in one another?

Visual Effects

  • Shadow Play with Dynamic Silhouettes of Small Objects – Using small figurines and objects, moving shadows of a larger crowd, buildings, and an entire city are created on the backdrop. These shadows continuously shift and transform, gradually dissolving into abstract patterns and fluid imagery, reflecting the changing realities of the characters and deepening the storytelling.

  • Choreography for big group - The coordinated and dynamic motion of many performers creates intricate patterns and rhythms on stage, transforming collective movement into a captivating visual spectacle that enhances the overall impact of the performance.

  • Iternal light. Backdrop Made of Special Material – At the end of the performance, light patterns appear on the backdrop, creating an effect of rebirth and a new beginning—an infinite universe, as if the audience is journeying into the depths of the human soul.
